The HSI Bloodborne Pathogens program includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others.
- HSI Bloodborne Pathogens has been approved by the HSI Medical Advisory Board and reviewed by the HSI Advisory Council.
- The program assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard 29 CFR 1910.1030.
HSI Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) Program Intended audience:
Individuals who are trained as a CPR, AED, and/or first aid provider, or employees who have an identified job classification in which there are tasks or procedures that increase the risk of exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
